The Carmichael 4th of July Parade

In 2008, I talked my friends at Grand Illusions into entering themselves in the Carmichael 4th of July parade. The idea was we'd get a bunch of folk to dress up in costumes, get some jugglers and magicians and walk the parade route as I strolled along on the quad with a big banner for the store. They reluctantly went along but got more excited about the idea as the time drew near. They were able to get a flatbed trailer so most of them didn't have to walk. They handed out magic wands and coupons for the store with 3 easy to do magic tricks on the back. We were very lucky when it came to the weather and nobody completely melted in their outfits. We even won 2 awards for our work! Here's a few photos from the day:
