This ad, from the LA Times, Sunday, July 17, 1983, shows that Consolidated Automobile & Parts Distributing Co. was really hurting to sell these cars. The price for the cars was good but what I'd like to have is the 5 year/50,000 mile service contract!

Here's an item I have that I've only seen on the photos of the late prototype cars. It is a full size licence plate. It's made of white card stock that has been printed in black and silver. There's a perf cut along the bottom, indicating that it must have been attached to something else at one time. Does anyone know any more about the history of this item? It can be seen on the cars in the tri-fold brochures, the big showroom brochures, and in SSI on pages 97 and 119.
