I'm attempting to write up the show here... That's going to take me a while. So much of it was a blur!

Monday - Drive home:

I left the hotel about 9:00 AM after packing up the last of the show items into the car. About then I checked my PDA/phone (which had been off most of the event because I forgot the charger and I wanted to save the last of the charge for the drive home (no I couldn't get another charger. They don't sell that model any more). Anyway, I had 2 messages - one from Jeff saying he was leaving about a half-hour before me - and one from Sandy - who had broken a hose on Sunday. Since I didn't have enough charge after checking messages I wasn't able to call either back.

I actually caught up with Jeff and his wife Joan just before Bakersfield, so we stopped and had lunch. I gave Jeff Sandy's phone number so we could find out if Sandy was OK. It appears he was able to patch the failure and had made it home safely. The only issue I had with my car was the fuel pump got noisy when the fuel was hot and low in the tank. I'm going to have to keep an eye on that. I may need a new pump soon. I got back home about 7:30 PM
